We’re looking for a precision grinding specialist to master our most demanding work.

•     Be the specialist. Own the toughest grinding in the shop: the flatness, parallelism and finish others can’t hold. The team counts on you to get it right.

•     Master the craft. Already a master, or ready to become one within 1–2 years, in a toolroom where precision grinding is a core craft.

•     Every part a new challenge. One-offs, prototypes and short runs for automotive, medical device, aerospace, industrial automation and engineered products. Tolerances to .0001″.

•     Precision surface grind tooling and components to tight flatness, parallelism and surface finish

•     Plan and set up your own jobs: workholding, wheel selection and dressing

•     Hold tolerances to .0001″ on hardened tool steel and specialty alloys

•     Own quality from first pass to finished part

•     Take on the toughest jobs and share your know-how with our toolmakers and apprentices

•     Bring ideas that make us better: new methods, new tooling, new technology

•     5+ years of precision surface grinding in a toolroom or short-run job shop

•     A track record of holding tight flatness, parallelism and surface finish

•     Strong wheel selection and dressing skills across materials and finishes

•     Expert precision measurement: micrometers, indicators, height gauges and surface plates, checking every part to the tenth

•     Solid blueprint reading and GD&T

•     Pride in your craft and the drive to keep raising the bar

Precision CNC milling, turning, grinding, and EDM, programmed in Mastercam and at the control. Since 1974, we’ve made everything from mold inserts and die components to fixtures and precision assemblies. We run on a modern ERP and put AI to work across the business.
